Is Glock 43x Double Stack - The Glock 43 marked a major change in the Glock product line when it was released. Featuring a single magazine instead of a Glock stack, the 43 is intended to be more concealable than previous Glock subs, such as the Glock 26. Early subs were criticized for being too thick, because the thickness is almost the same as a full size. magazine-loading models similar to the larger Glock models.
But switching to a single stack meant that Glock had to make an entirely new frame and slide, a huge investment for the gun. With the Glock 43X, Glock looks to build a complete family of single-action pistols based on the Glock 43.
Is Glock 43x Double Stack
Like other Glock "Crossover" models (denoted by an X), the Glock 43X has a longer grip compared to the length of the slide. This is the first test of the Glock 19X, which combines the full Glock 17 grip with the Glock 19 short frame and dust cover. As there was no "full size" Glock stock when the 43X was made, the Glock 43X has a long grip intended to hold a full hand grip, compared to the original Glock 43 which has a short grip that may require a magazine extension for the pinky.

Interestingly, the 43X in its first release featured a PVD coated stainless steel slide, breaking with Glock's tradition of using a black Tenifer or nDLC coating on their slides. Glock's decision to do this is not certain, however, the 43X is a standard model already in the Crossover product line, so the powerful slide is another feature intended to make it more distinctive. However, the all-black 43X was released in July, so the first slide version of the powerful 43X could be a sales move.
Gun wise, the 43X is another Glock. Released in 2019, it is the fifth generation Glock and thus benefits from an improved trigger and characteristic of the fifth generation trigger. Most reviewers seem to appreciate the improved shooting that the long-section extension brings, as well as the increased ten-round capacity in the mag.
However, the Glock 43X may face stiff competition in the compact market from other recent compacts. Sig Sauer, Inc. it has a P365 line with a capacity of thirteen rounds. Springfield Armory's Hellcat also competes in the small market and features sight reductions on all guns. The P365 has eye drops as an optional upgrade over the P365XL model.
Glock has its own sight designs with the MOS system, but only MOS Glocks are double stack designs as the MOS sight cut is only made for wide slides. Although some third-party manufacturers already offer Glock 43 sight slides, Glock has yet to make any factory optics for the Glock 43 or any of its derivatives, which could affect its competitiveness against the competition model.
How Many Rounds Does A Glock Hold?
However, with its long handle, proven Glock performance, and slim profile, the Glock 43X is the best choice for those looking for a concealed carry pistol on the market today. Glocks are some of the most popular handguns in the world for one reason: they just work.
Charlie Gao studied Politics and Computer Science at Grinnell University and is a frequent commentator on national defense and security issues. The handgun manufacturer's definition of simple reliability, the Glock 43X and Glock 48 provide slim shooters with excellent carry options in 9mm.
I have carried a concealed Glock 19 for almost 18 years rather off and on. The first few years I was still at work. After that, I had our state's version of the Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act, and I also had a state carry license - belt and suspender style.
I started carrying concealed handguns in the 1970s - remember Jimmy Carter, double digit inflation and double digit unemployment? Yes, I started going back, and it was a while before I chose a filmmaker.
Glock 43x And Glock 48 Engineered For Maximum Carry Convenience
With that in mind, I was surprised to find that the Glock 19, compact by design, is too bulky for most people to carry. And, once I really thought about it, it made sense. If you are in a unique environment that is not allowed - not that it is illegal to live or even a job requirement that you be weak - but if you work with people who have an unexpected burden of inanimate objects, "down" is important when. it comes to hide.
In the small arms race, people have gone with flyweight measurements and very small guns and hoped for the best. Sadly, the way guns can make guns is lost. I've shot a .380 revolver, as well as some pretty nasty 9mm mini guns: The results weren't pretty.
Meanwhile, various states have allowed bans on "spring boxes" — in other words, magazines that hold "multiple rounds" of ammunition. A deadly weapon, the logic goes, can be very dangerous with these limitations.

Until the late 1994 Clinton Gun Ban that didn't work, every country was restricted and banned such magazines. The company has moved to a two-phase operation and a small operation. The Glock 19 became one example of a gun that required Clinton's magazines to be cut off suddenly. Oh, what we would give to have a ready supply of 10 concealed handguns. There are a few that are under 10 rounds, but no accessories (spare magazines, holsters, magazine pouches).
Today, our wait is over, and it seems the time is ripe for the modern advent of legislative usurpation. Glock has released some great versions of their Slimline 9mm pistols. Their first American effort was the Glock 43. As a six-shot 9mm, it was very small. With a short barrel / slide combined with a short frame, it can be hidden in the bellyband under clothes, worn in an ankle holster or put in a pocket.
However, it is difficult to put on a Glock 43 when it is sold. It's not painful, but trying to pass the Wizard Drill — a mark to see if you're proficient with the gun you're carrying, while you're carrying it — is difficult. Some people are there, but some are not.
At the same time, some people on the Internet say that there are no real innovations from gun companies. Well, Glock doesn't just add the Glock 43; they have to make other changes to make everything right. As such, realizing that most of the storage functionality is in the magazine/frame length and not in the barrel/slide due to movement within the waist, they released two 2019 models.
Glock 43: My Once Perfect Partner For Concealed Carry– Bravo Concealment
The resulting expansion is the Glock 43X. Basically a Glock 43 top on a long frame, the magazine is different. With a capacity of 10 rounds of 9x19mm, it is just as durable as a Glock 43 when loaded with a Vickers Tactical/Tango Down +2 basepad compatible magazine. To make 10 rounds that fit in the eighth position, the new newspapers are thick and do not fit in the back.
The short barrel and slide come out of the holster quickly, but with a frame that gives you, the user, more to hold.
Not content with making the Glock 43X "accessible magazine compatible," they used the same Glock 43X frame and added a G19-length (albeit smaller) mirrored barrel/slide. Result: Glock 48. Just like a 10-shot gun, a longer barrel/slide will give you more of that boasted sight area.
For those who carry equipment, a longer barrel/slide will give the body something to compress to push the rear of the gun into the body. This actually increases saving.
Glock 43x Optimized: Customizing The G43x
The Gen5 G19 is wider than the G48 (right). Note the opening in the Glock 48 slide in front of the dustpan; it is there to allow access to the front brake nut.
The Glock 43X slide is shorter than the G43 by just over 6 inches (with a 3.41 inch barrel). The Glock 48 is called a "compact," measuring 6.85 inches long (4.17 inch barrel), making it compatible with current Canadian crimes.
What do guns look like? Both ship with a pair of 10-round magazines. Sight options include standard plastic "ball-in-a-bucket" sights if you want to switch to your preferred sights, Glock Night Sights (GNS) or Glock Ameriglo Bold. The frame is well sealed, and the slides are silver with a silver nPVD finish. There are front ends, which are easy for chamber checks - if you keep your muzzle numbers open.
Also, the magazine release is reversible, a "beavertail" built into the rear of the frame to reduce the possibility of slide bite, and both guns have Glock Marksman barrels.
Thoughts On The Glock 48 Vs 43x
I found the Glock 48 to weigh 17.6 ounces on my scale, with an empty mag in place. The Glock 43X is 16.8 ounces, about the same. Cause
